All the Tunisian people( except those who have authorities) suffered from the police excesses before the revolution. After the rotation the ordinary people expect that everything will be okay, and the power of the police will be limited by laws and all the tensions will take their rights.
The revolution which was stated to avoid such practices but Actually what is happening now contradict the demands and the foundation that the revolution was standing for.
The people still bear the ire of police brutality.
23 août 2014 i woke up as all the Tunisian people at the news of the murder of Ahlem and Ones Dalhomi They were shot down by the police without any grounds, they were two innocent girls that paid their lives just because The driver had neglected to stop at order from the security patrol.
The police in that mission did not get into his uniform and using a steady automobile!
If the police is neglecting the conventions of his mission how did he expect from ordinary people to give up to the security patrol.Under the dangerous situation that the country lived in from terrorism and the warnings of the minister of terrorism!! oh sorry of the interior??
Moving to the assault of Hela boujneh, Associative activist and law student Boujneh Hela, member of the NGO Active Generation, claims to have been a police attack on the night of Sunday 24 to Monday, August 25 at a police station in Bab Bhar in Sousse. The young woman, aged 30, was taken into custody while she was visiting her brother at the police station after he was arrested for driving his motorcycle without papers.And she still suspended till this minute
Then, the assault of Lina Ben Mhenni a cyber-dissident, blogger and Tunisian journalist. She is also assistant of English at the University of Tunis .This brutal aggression and repeatedly occurred at the district Houmt Souk in Djerba. Her coach, responsible for her protection, was also assaulted.The question is: Who is next??
Sadly, the state machinery and the judiciary remained mute spectators to these dastardly acts.
The state needs a new type of police force, one that will protect the citizens against crime, and ensure that human rights are not violated. The people of the state should take a fresh decision and strive for a tomorrow without any police brutality and an administration that is free of corruption.
